Privacy and cookie policy

This policy explains how CON.FI. Fashion Service S.r.l. processes the personal data of visitors to www.confifashionservice.com and of people who contact us, under Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018.

What data we process

• Browsing data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, date and time of the visit. These are recorded automatically by the systems that host the website.
• Data you send us: name, company, email, phone and whatever you write in your message, with any attachments, when you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, or through the quote request form, which opens your email program.
• Job applications: the data in the CV you send us.

Why we process data and on what legal basis

• Replying to your requests and preparing quotes: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Managing relationships with clients and suppliers: performance of the contract and compliance with legal obligations, for example tax and accounting (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(c) GDPR).
• Assessing job applications: pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Please do not include unnecessary data in your CV, especially health data or other special categories of data.
• Running the website securely: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Statistics and advertising through non-essential cookies: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

We do not sell or hand over your data to third parties for marketing purposes.

Providing your data

Giving us your contact details is optional, but without them we cannot reply to you or prepare a quote.

Who we share data with

Data is processed by authorized CON.FI staff and, where needed, by suppliers working for us whom we appoint as data processors: the platform hosting the website (Wix.com Ltd.), email and business software providers, our accountant and consultants, and couriers for shipments. It may be disclosed to public authorities when required by law.

Transfers outside the European Union

Some providers, such as Wix, Google (YouTube) and Meta (WhatsApp), may process data outside the European Union. In these cases the transfer takes place to countries covered by a European Commission adequacy decision or on the basis of the standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission.

How long we keep data

• Information and quote requests that do not lead to an order: up to 24 months from the last contact.
• Client and supplier data: for the whole duration of the relationship and then for 10 years, as required by Italian civil and tax law.
• Job applications: up to 12 months from receipt.
• Browsing data: for the period set by the hosting provider, unless needed to establish liability in the event of computer crime.

Cookies and similar technologies

The website uses:

• Essential cookies, needed for the website to work and stay secure, set by the Wix platform. They do not require consent.
• A preference stored in your browser to remember the language you chose (Italian or English).
• Statistics and advertising cookies, including third-party cookies such as Google, which are activated only if you give consent through the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time.
• Videos embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com): YouTube collects data only when you start the video.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, some parts of the website may not work properly.

Your rights

At any time you can ask us to access, correct or erase your data, to restrict its processing, or to receive it in a readable format (portability), and you can object to processing based on our legitimate interest (Articles 15-22 GDPR). If you gave consent, you can withdraw it whenever you like, without affecting processing already carried out. To exercise your rights, write to hello@confifashionservice.com.

If you believe the processing of your data breaches the GDPR, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).

Minors

The website is aimed at businesses and professionals and does not knowingly collect data from children under 14. If you think a minor has sent us their data, write to us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date of the last update is shown at the top.
